Team Achievements
In February, the Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams captured the CUNYAC Championships and automatic bids to the NCAA Division III Tournament. It is the first time in the school’s history that both programs won the conference championship in the same year. Brooklyn College junior Chanel Jemmott garnered Most Outstanding Player honors following the women’s championship game victory over Hunter College, and senior Anthony McClean capped the evening at York College by being named Most Outstanding Player for his efforts in the men’s championship win over Baruch College.
In February, the Men’s Swimming and Diving team finished second at the CUNYAC Championships—the best showing in the program’s history. This wrapped up a historic season for the team that went into the conference championships with a regular season record of 8–1, a program best.
