1956

Franklin Stein is the founding editor of the new journal Annals of International Occupational Therapy; author (with Kristine Haertl) of the Pocket Guide to Intervention in Occupational Therapy, Second Edition (Slack Books, 2019); and author (with Kathleen Reed) of the forthcoming book, Occupational Therapy: A Guide for Students, Consumers, and Advocates (Slack Books, 2020).

1959

Max Heinrich published Reflections of a Cynical Clinical Psychologist (Routledge, 2020).

Howard Kimmel, professor emeritus in chemical engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology, received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM). He is one of 15 awardees in 2019. Bestowed by the National Science Foundation in partnership with the White House Office of Science and Technology, the achievement recognizes the strong contributions made by the recipients in expanding, enhancing, and retaining science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) talent through mentorship.

Solomon Pinczewski (along with Linda Rosenberg) published From Bergen-Belsen to Brooklyn (Amazon, 2020), a memoir about his mother, who survived Nazi concentration camps to raise her family in an Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Dr. Maria Maranga was elected vice president of the American Dental Association.

Matthew Daddona recently published his debut collection of poems, House of Sound (Wandering Aengus Press 2020).
